KRAKacquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed in January and sponsored by an affiliate of crypto exchange Kraken, is actively searching for an acquisition target valued at up to $10 billion. Director Ravi Tanuku indicated that the firm aims to align a small- or mid-cap company with the crypto exchange. While the exact valuation is flexible, potentially ranging closer to $2 billion, the search reflects a broad interest in companies related to crypto, stablecoins, DeFi, and payments.

Tanuku noted that Wall Street's interest in firms associated with stablecoins and tokenization has significantly increased, signaling a favorable market for such ventures.
