While acknowledging that long-term price discovery is still influenced by spot investors, Woo emphasized the dominant role of futures, perpetual swaps, and options in shaping daily trading. He estimates that derivatives control approximately 95% of short-term price action, suggesting that even significant purchases by entities like MicroStrategy may not prevent a bear market on their own.

Woo's analysis challenges the notion that a single large buyer can unilaterally influence Bitcoin's trajectory.
