The post, published on September 28, featured an image showing the number of accounts across various XRP balance ranges. It reported that the average amount of XRP held per wallet is “12,350.86 $XRP.”
Like the XRP rich list, this table provides key insight into token distribution among wallets, breaking down accounts by balance categories, starting from wallets with zero to 20 XRP and rising to a small group of wallets with over 1 billion XRP. 5 wallets fall into the highest category, collectively holding more than 7.4 billion XRP.
Other segments show that 22 wallets each have between 500 million and one billion XRP, while 58 wallets hold between 100 million and 500 million XRP.

XRP is currently trading at $2.81, which means the reported average of 12,350.86 XRP per wallet equals about $34,700. This average value also sits far above the 1,000 XRP threshold, which many experts have set as the minimum investment for everyone serious about XRP.
However, the image also reveals that most wallets fall on the lower end of the scale. There are over 1.3 million wallets with 20 XRP or less, and more than 2.3 million wallets holding between 20 and 500 XRP.
