As of the latest reporting, the USD equivalent of Strategy's Bitcoin holdings exceeds $60 billion. This valuation implies a profit of approximately $10 billion, at least on paper.
Context of Recent Acquisitions
The most recent acquisition is considerably larger than those made in the preceding weeks. For context, on December 1, the firm announced the purchase of a much smaller amount, "just" 130 BTC. At that time, Strategy also established a USD Reserve valued at $1.44 billion. This reserve was intended to support the payment of dividends on its preferred stock and interest on its outstanding indebtedness.
