Airdrop Details and Allocation
Over 100,000 Solana Mobile users and mobile app developers are set to receive a share of nearly 2 billion Seeker tokens as part of the first SKR airdrop scheduled for next week.
Solana Mobile announced via an X post on Wednesday that an allocation tracker is now live. Users and developers can check their "seed vault wallets" to determine their airdrop amounts, which are expected to be distributed on January 21.
The total allocation for this airdrop includes 1,819,755,000 SKR for 100,908 users and 141,030,000 SKR for 188 developers. In total, nearly 2 billion SKR tokens are being distributed to the community.
The Seeker (SKR) token airdrop is linked to Solana Mobile’s second-generation phone, which began shipping in August 2025 and is priced at approximately $500.
SKR serves as the native token for the Solana mobile ecosystem. This airdrop represents 20% of the total token supply, which stands at 10 billion.

Staking and Reward Tiers
Following the airdrop, Solana Mobile users will be able to begin staking their SKR tokens to earn rewards immediately.
Once claimed on January 21 at 2 am UTC, users can stake their SKR directly to Guardians within the Seed Vault Wallet. SKR can also be staked via a web interface through the SKR Staking web experience.
User allocations, which are contingent on Seeker phone ownership, are categorized into several tiers: Scout, Prospector, Vanguard, Luminary, and Sovereign. The Sovereign tier represents the highest level, with each user in this tier set to receive 750,000 SKR.
The distribution of rewards is determined by user engagement with the Seeker phone, the Solana decentralized application store, and on-chain activity during the first season of the airdrop.
Device Adoption and Ecosystem Focus
Leading up to the launch of the Seeker device, Solana Mobile reported over 150,000 pre-orders. However, current figures indicate that 109,000 users are eligible for the airdrop, a number lower than the initial pre-order figures.
In contrast to Solana Mobile’s first-generation device, the Saga, the Seeker was developed with a broader purpose beyond just being a "rewards magnet." The company has placed significant emphasis on building robust infrastructure to support the phone and fostering a vibrant dApp store.
