Massive Token Distribution Planned
Over 100,000 Solana Mobile users and mobile app developers are set to receive nearly 2 billion Seeker tokens in the first SKR airdrop, scheduled for next week. The company announced this significant distribution on Wednesday.
Airdrop Details and Allocation Tracker
An allocation tracker has been launched, allowing users and developers to check their seed vault wallets to determine their specific airdrop amounts. The total allocation comprises 1,819,755,000 SKR for 100,908 users and 141,030,000 Seeker tokens for 188 developers, as reported by Solana Mobile via X.
Seeker Token and Solana Mobile Ecosystem
The Seeker token airdrop is directly linked to Solana Mobile's second-generation phone, which commenced shipping in August 2025 and is priced at approximately $500. Seeker serves as the native token for the Solana mobile ecosystem, with this airdrop accounting for 20% of the total token supply, which stands at 10 billion.
Staking Opportunities for Seeker Token Holders
Following the airdrop, users will have the immediate ability to begin staking SKR to earn rewards. Seeker tokens can be staked directly to Guardians within the Seed Vault Wallet. Additionally, Seeker tokens can be staked via the web through the SKR Staking web experience, Solana Mobile confirmed.
Tiered Allocations for User Eligibility
Allocations for users eligible through their Seeker phone ownership are categorized into several tiers: Scout, Prospector, Vanguard, Luminary, and Sovereign. The Sovereign tier represents the highest level of reward, with each user in this category receiving 750,000 SKR.
Factors Influencing Reward Distribution
The quantity of rewards distributed is determined by several factors, including user engagement with the Seeker phone, activity within the Solana decentralized app store, and overall on-chain activity during Season 1 of the airdrop. Despite Solana Mobile initially touting over 150,000 pre-orders leading up to Seeker's launch, the latest figures indicate that 109,000 users are eligible for the airdrop, a number below the initial pre-order projections.
Strategic Vision for the Seeker Phone
In contrast to its first-generation device, the Saga, the Seeker was conceptualized to be more than just a rewards-generating device. The company has placed significant emphasis on developing robust infrastructure to support the phone and fostering a vibrant DApp store. This strategic approach positions the Seeker as a long-term blockchain mobile platform, moving beyond its role as a short-term incentive mechanism.
