Crypto commentator Austin Hilton has expressed renewed confidence in XRP and the broader cryptocurrency market, citing a series of favorable macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. In a recent video, Hilton addressed fellow XRP holders, stating that the growing optimism is not based on speculation but grounded in tangible progress surrounding trade relations and monetary policy developments that are influencing market sentiment.

According to Hilton, the overall cryptocurrency market has gained approximately $200 billion in market capitalization over the past two days, signaling a clear recovery in investor confidence. While XRP itself has not yet demonstrated significant price movement, he emphasized that the renewed sense of optimism extends beyond individual assets and reflects broader trends benefiting the entire digital asset sector.

Trump–Xi Trade Talks Foster Renewed Confidence

Hilton explained that one of the primary factors fueling this resurgence in confidence is the improving relationship between the United States and China. He referenced the upcoming meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, scheduled for Thursday morning in South Korea, which corresponds to late Wednesday night in the United States. Hilton noted that both sides have exchanged positive messages ahead of the meeting, with Chinese officials reportedly expressing respect for President Trump. These signals have contributed to a growing belief that a trade agreement between the two nations is within reach. Hilton pointed out that the expectation of a deal has already had measurable effects, not only in cryptocurrency markets but also in traditional equities, with stock indices reflecting the same upward momentum seen in digital assets.

Federal Reserve Decision Bolsters Market Optimism

The analyst also highlighted the significance of the upcoming Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, during which the U.S. Federal Reserve is widely expected to announce a 25-basis-point interest rate cut. Hilton stated that the likelihood of this decision is already priced into the markets, estimating the probability at 97%. While this move may not produce an immediate surge in prices, he argued that it reinforces the overall positive sentiment that has characterized the week’s market activity.

Turning specifically to XRP, Hilton analyzed its recent price behavior, observing that the token appears to be breaking above a resistance level around $0.60.
