NFT Sales Volume Declines Sharply
A new market update drawing on CryptoSlam’s weekly NFT Global Sales Volume Index reports that November’s global NFT sales fell to about $320 million, roughly half of October’s total, with just $62 million recorded in the first week of December. The latest figures suggest digital art is ending 2025 under clear pressure as activity retreats to levels last seen more than a year ago.
Market Valuation Drops Significantly
According to the same data, the overall NFT market valuation has slid to around $3.1 billion from a $9.2 billion peak in January, wiping out nearly two thirds of this year’s gains. Blue chip collections such as CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pudgy Penguins and fine art series like Fidenza, Chromie Squiggle and Moonbirds have all posted notable monthly declines, while Hypurr has plunged close to 50%, leaving only a few outliers such as Infinex Patrons and Autoglyphs in positive territory.
Market Participants Watch for Stabilization
The report notes that this slump follows a brief rebound in mid November, when valuations bounced from roughly $3.5 billion to $3.9 billion on a memecoin driven wave before sliding back again. With volumes soft and blue chips losing altitude, market participants are now watching CryptoSlam’s weekly index for signs of stabilization, or evidence that NFT winter is not over but deepening.
