Edinson Carranza is a young Peruvian entrepreneur who, at 16, created his country’s first social network. Since the age of 12, he has been building his own games inspired by MapleStory. Later, he led tech projects in Argentina for banks, fintechs, and software factories. A Web3 visionary since 2018, when Ethereum enabled smart contracts, he identified Uniswap as a key to transforming the crypto ecosystem.
The Foundation of ECS TEAM LTD and the Birth of Shiba Inu
In parallel with the launch of Shiba Inu (SHIB) token in August 2020, the company ECS TEAM LTD, founded by Edinson Carranza Saldaña, was incorporated in the United Kingdom. The company was officially registered on August 28, 2020, precisely the same month the SHIB ERC-20 contract was deployed on Ethereum and the first test pumps took place on Uniswap.
This is not a coincidence. ECS TEAM LTD was created as the legal and operational backbone supporting the project’s early technological development. The timing between the company’s incorporation and the token’s deployment reveals clear strategic planning: while the ecosystem was starting to organize and publicly define its founding principles —as described in the archived 2020 site— the company had already been legally established to support that vision.

Project Deviations and My Departure
When the Shiba Inu project started, many individuals showed interest in controlling the product and its direction, attracted by the potential of a decentralized community and an emerging token. My involvement was from the very beginning, during the conceptual and technical phases, up to the creation of ShibaSwap. After that point, I decided to fully step away from the project.
The name “Ryoshi” was merely an alias used strategically to avoid personal attacks and to follow the same principle that Satoshi Nakamoto represented for Bitcoin: the project stands above any individual.
As the community grew, external individuals emerged, including “Shytoshi” and others with no real technical background, who attempted to position themselves as leaders and “co-creators.” From that point on, they began launching new tokens and parallel projects on various blockchains such as BNB and Solana, as well as tokens like BONE and others, which had no connection to the original idea or vision.
They also pushed for the development of Shibarium, Shib Metaverse, and other initiatives that, in my view, made no sense and strayed from the project’s founding principles.
The true and original vision of Shiba Inu has always been, and will remain, the ERC-20 “ShibaToken” — a community-driven, decentralized asset without centralized power structures. Everything launched afterward represented a clear divergence from the original vision.
