Key administrative documents, including fire safety certificates, trade licenses, and construction approvals, will now be securely stored on the blockchain. Each certificate issued by the Amravati Municipal Corporation will be accompanied by a QR code. This allows anyone to scan the code with their mobile device and instantly verify the authenticity of the document. Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, articulated the government's vision to "build an inclusive and transparent system that reduces regional disparities and improves service accessibility."
He also highlighted several ongoing national projects, including AIKosh, the IndiaAI platform providing access to datasets and AI tools, and the Open Government Data portal, which offers real-time access to government information.
Established national digital initiatives such as Aadhaar, DigiLocker, UMANG, and UPI continue to facilitate large-scale public service delivery. Furthermore, PMGDISHA, the digital literacy program, has successfully trained over 64 million individuals.
