Enhanced Trading Accessibility for Global Investors
eToro, the trading and investing platform, has announced a significant expansion of its 24/5 trading offering. The platform now covers all stocks within the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices, providing users with around-the-clock trading access to these prominent US equities for five days a week.
"Our mission has always been to open the global markets and make trading accessible to everyone, everywhere," stated Yossi Brandes, VP of Execution Services at eToro. "The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 represent some of the world’s most influential companies, and now with 24/5 trading our users around the world have the flexibility to trade them at their own convenience. We will continue to add more assets and to expand our 24/5 offering to meet the evolving needs of our global community."
This new offering allows trading from Sunday 20:05 until Friday 16:00 Eastern Time (ET). This extended window grants users access to a broader range of US stocks outside of traditional exchange hours. The ability to trade around the clock empowers users to react promptly to breaking news, earnings reports, and economic data that can influence market movements overnight. This flexibility enables investors to remain agile and exert greater control over their investment portfolios. Notably, users located outside of the United States can now engage with US stocks during their local daytime hours.
