Ethereum Staking Rate Reaches Historic Peak
The amount of ETH staked on the Ethereum network has reached 36.2 million units, marking the highest value to date. This volume, equivalent to approximately $115 billion, signifies that 30% of the total ETH supply is locked with validators, effectively removing it from active circulation. Data shows that staked assets yield an annual average return of 2.8%, creating a notable tightening on the supply side.
The most significant signal in the staking ecosystem was the congestion in the validator entry queue.
