New Product Offers Twice the Daily Performance of Dogecoin
Crypto fund issuer 21Shares launched a leveraged Dogecoin ETF on Thursday as FalconX completed its acquisition of the company. The product delivers twice the daily performance of Dogecoin before fees and expenses, expanding 21Shares' U.S. offerings following the transaction.
FalconX Strengthens Digital Asset Access Through Acquisition
FalconX CEO Raghu Yarlagadda stated the combination of FalconX's institutional trading platform with 21Shares' exchange-traded product leadership strengthens the firm's position to accelerate innovation and broaden digital asset access. FalconX announced the deal last month, explaining it would expand presence across U.S., European, and Asia-Pacific markets.
21Shares' Growing ETF Portfolio
21Shares managed over $11 billion across 55 listed products at the end of September. The firm's portfolio includes two crypto index ETFs providing exposure to Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum and Dogecoin. The new leveraged offering aims for 200% of Dogecoin's daily performance before fees, though daily compounding means periods longer than one day may differ significantly from twice the underlying asset's return.
Leveraged ETFs target short-term use by sophisticated investors who actively monitor positions and understand high-volatility exposure risks. The launch builds on 21Shares' exclusive partnership with House of Doge, the official corporate arm of the Dogecoin Foundation. Earlier this year, 21Shares launched the only Dogecoin ETP in Europe with Dogecoin Foundation’s endorsement.
Dogecoin's Evolution and Merchant Adoption
The collaboration highlights Dogecoin's evolution from internet meme to decentralized digital asset supported by real-world utility and growing merchant adoption. Major companies including Tesla and AMC Theatres accept Dogecoin for payments. The community's "Do Only Good Everyday" principle has inspired charitable and financial inclusion initiatives globally.

Although FalconX owns and controls 21Shares, the firm remains independently managed under CEO Russell Barlow. The leveraged product targets investors seeking amplified exposure to Dogecoin's daily price movements through a regulated exchange-traded structure.
