- •The company's assets under management reached a record $137.2 billion, an 8.8% increase from the previous quarter.
WisdomTree announced that its net inflows from cryptocurrency products reached $764 million in the third quarter of 2025. This significant contribution accounted for approximately 34% of the firm’s total quarterly inflows.
The company also revealed that its total assets under management (AUM) had achieved a new peak of $137.2 billion. This figure signifies a notable increase of 8.8% compared to the preceding quarter.
Major Contributors to Q3 Inflows
The overall net inflows for the third quarter amounted to $2.2 billion. This substantial inflow was primarily propelled by three key categories, as detailed in the firm’s earnings announcement.
Commodity products were a significant driver, attracting $1.1 billion in net inflows. International developed equity products followed with $476 million in inflows. The cryptocurrency category’s impressive $764 million contribution positioned it as the second-largest contributor to the firm's quarterly growth. For the quarter, the firm reported diluted earnings per share of $0.13, or $0.23 on an adjusted basis.
Expansion and Development of Cryptocurrency Products
During the third quarter, WisdomTree introduced the WisdomTree Physical Stellar Lumens ETP (XLMW) to its product lineup. In October, the firm further expanded access to its existing crypto products, making its Bitcoin and Ethereum ETPs available to retail investors in the UK.
This strategic move followed the firm’s XRP ETF filing, which remains under review by the US Securities and Exchange Commission and has undergone several amendments. The UK Financial Conduct Authority’s decision to lift its ban on retail crypto investment products in October 2025 created new opportunities. WisdomTree’s Physical Bitcoin ETP (BTCW) and Physical Ethereum ETP (ETHW) were among the initial products offered to retail investors following this regulatory shift. It is important to note that WisdomTree has been actively operating crypto ETPs in European markets since 2019.
Strategies for Sustained Long-Term Growth
Jonathan Steinberg, CEO of WisdomTree, expressed confidence in the company’s future, highlighting that its strategic expansion into private assets and its continued leadership in tokenization are key factors positioning the firm for long-term growth. In a significant development, BNY Mellon was recently appointed as the core banking-as-a-service infrastructure provider for the WisdomTree Prime platform, which is designed to support tokenized assets and cryptocurrencies.
The BNY Mellon blockchain payments initiative is a clear reflection of the bank’s broader strategy concerning digital assets. WisdomTree further bolstered its alternative asset offerings by completing its acquisition of Ceres Partners in October 2025, which added farmland investments to its portfolio. Additionally, the firm successfully completed a $475 million convertible senior notes offering in August. These strategic maneuvers are occurring within a global financial landscape where institutions are increasingly exploring UK tokenized sterling projects and other innovative digital asset infrastructure initiatives.
