Bitcoin Short-Term Holders Accumulate 1 Million BTC
Since August, Bitcoin short-term holders have increased their holdings by 1 million BTC, bringing their total to 5.4 million BTC, a 24.7% increase. This accumulation is occurring despite the fact that most of these coins are currently held at a loss, indicating ongoing investor confidence and entry into the market.

The behavior of short-term holders is often closely watched as they are considered early signalers whose moves can precede broader market trends. Their continued buying activity suggests a bullish sentiment among these investors.
Bitcoin Price Prediction: Fed Policy and Liquidity Impact
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen has predicted that Bitcoin could potentially surpass $150,000. This forecast is contingent on the Federal Reserve pausing its quantitative tightening (QT) and initiating a cycle of rate cuts. Chen highlighted that U.S. liquidity conditions have become a key driver for Bitcoin's price, especially with the expectation of fiscal spending returning after the U.S. government shutdown concludes.
Chen previously made a bold prediction in January, suggesting Bitcoin could exceed $130,000 and potentially reach $150,000 to $200,000. She emphasized that a resumption of fiscal and monetary easing would make Bitcoin reaching $150,000 an inevitability, whether occurring later this year or in early next year. Chen expressed personal confidence, stating, "I'm personally all-in again, and I'm ready to witness Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high together with everyone."
Uniswap's Fee Switch Could Trigger Significant UNI Buybacks
If Uniswap (UNI) implements its proposed fee switch, it could lead to substantial buybacks of the UNI token. Based on historical data, enabling the fee switch, which allocates 0.25% of the 0.3% LP fee to liquidity providers and 0.05% to UNI holders, could generate approximately $2.8 billion in annualized fees for the protocol.
This revenue stream would translate to an estimated $38 million in monthly UNI buybacks. This projected buyback amount would exceed that of PUMP, which has a $35 million monthly buyback, but would be less than HYPE's $95 million monthly buyback.
