The cryptocurrency market has eagerly anticipated the launch of an XRP ETF for many years, with traders awaiting movement from major issuers. Many within the crypto community have long predicted that BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, would eventually file for such a product, although no official filing has emerged.
Interest surged significantly when Canary Capital launched its XRPC product on the 13th, marking a major milestone for XRP supporters. The launch immediately gained traction as traders monitored its early activity across the market. Notably, XRPC opened with strong momentum, generating $58 million in trading volume on its first day, surpassing the $57 million debut volume recorded by the Bitwise Solana ETF (BSOL).
Demand for XRPC has continued to grow as more investors seek regulated XRP exposure. This performance has intensified attention toward other XRP-focused ETFs that are preparing to enter the market.
Pundit Predicts BlackRock Could Outperform XRPC’s Debut
A new projection surfaced shortly after XRPC’s opening day garnered widespread interest. According to a crypto commentator known as {x} (@unknowDLT) on X, XRPC’s performance suggests that a BlackRock XRP ETF could reach $2 billion in its first 24 hours.
After seeing the performance of Canary Capital's XRP ETF, I would venture to say that Blackrock's XRP ETF will have a net inflow of $2 billion on its first day.
The two figures are closer than many people think.

This prediction highlighted BlackRock's position as the world's largest asset manager, overseeing more than $10 trillion in assets under management. Consequently, the comment gained traction as traders compared both issuers and evaluated possible outcomes.
No Official Confirmation From BlackRock
It is important to note that this discussion remains speculative and is driven entirely by XRPC’s early success, without any official action from BlackRock. BlackRock has not announced or signaled any intention to file for an XRP ETF at the time of writing.
Growing Lineup of XRP ETFs Approaching Launch
Additional XRP-related ETFs are also expected to reach the market before the month's end from multiple issuers. Among the listed funds are Bitwise XRP, Franklin Templeton XRPZ, 21Shares TOXR, Canary XRPC, and CoinShares XRPL.
These products have already appeared on the DTCC platform, which manages post-trade clearance and settlement for major United States markets. DTCC listing activity indicates operational preparation as issuers move closer to potential public trading.
