As of 12:00 AM KST on October 12, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 170.59 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.97% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 160.15 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 10.44 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 6.52%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, showed a 6.61% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins also displayed significant premiums: Solana (SOL) at 6.62%, XRP (XRP) at 6.50%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 6.72%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 7.10%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 6.5% to 7.1% range.
