As of 12:00 AM KST on October 11, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 176.35 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.71% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 171.52 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 4.83 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 2.82%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 2.95%. Other major altcoins also displayed significant premiums: Solana (SOL) at 2.67%, XRP (XRP) at 2.78%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 2.58%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.21%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 2.2% to 2.9% range.
