As of 12:00 AM KST on November 13, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 154.7 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.26% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 152.15 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 2.55 million KRW and a kimchi premium of 1.68%.
Altcoin Premiums in the Korean Market
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a 1.71% kimchi premium. Other major altcoins also showed similar premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.58%, XRP (XRP) at 1.63%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.69%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.06%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 1.5% to 2.0% range in the Korean market.
