As of 12:00 AM KST on December 9, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 135.43 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.18% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 133.37 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 2.06 million KRW and a kimchi premium of 1.54%.
Altcoin Premiums Mirror Bitcoin
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 1.54%. Other major altcoins also showed similar premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.50%, XRP (XRP) at 1.51%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.57%, and Sui (SUI) at 1.34%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 1.3% to 1.5% range.
