Magic Labs Integrates Newton Protocol for Enhanced On-Chain Compatibility
Key Integration for Programmable Compliance
Magic Labs, a prominent embedded wallet provider for platforms such as Polymarket and Naver, has announced a significant integration with Newton Protocol (NEWT). This collaboration marks a crucial advancement in achieving on-chain compatibility.
As stated, Magic Labs will incorporate the Newton SDK into its extensive ecosystem, which currently serves over 200,000 developers and boasts 50 million wallets. This integration is designed to introduce programmable compatibility directly at the transaction layer.
According to the press release, this development signifies the most extensive deployment of programmable compliance infrastructure to date. The integration empowers developers to embed features like verifiable policy enforcement and automated risk management directly into their applications.
Strategic Vision for Transaction Security
Jaemin Jin, co-founder and president of Magic Labs, articulated the primary objective of this integration:
“Magic secures the account. Newton Protocol secures the transaction. By integrating Newton’s programmable policy layer into wallets, we are extending a compliance-ready framework from onboarding to the transaction level.”
Broad Impact on Developer Ecosystem
Mohammad Akhavannik, executive director of the Magic Newton Foundation, highlighted the widespread impact of this integration:
“By bringing Newton Protocol to Magic developers, we are making compatibility a native part of on-chain development for hundreds of thousands of application developers.”

Despite this notable development, the price of NEWT experienced a negative reaction in the market.
