Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao, widely known as CZ, has dismissed viral rumors suggesting he was dating actress Sydney Sweeney. Zhao called the claims "fake news" and urged his followers to enhance their ability to identify misinformation, emphasizing how rapidly unverified stories spread across social media platforms.
CZ Responds to Dating Speculation
The speculation originated from an X post that claimed Zhao was in a romantic relationship with the "Euphoria" star. This post included side-by-side photos of both figures and quickly gained significant traction, accumulating hundreds of likes and reposts.
CZ responded directly on X, stating that he had never met Sweeney. "Poor Sydney Sweeney. Never met her. I don't socialize much," he wrote.
The cryptocurrency mogul also used the opportunity to caution traders about the inherent dangers of viral misinformation. "Figuring out what 'news' to not believe in is becoming harder, but you will be richer if you can," CZ added.

CZ's warning carries considerable weight, particularly given the cryptocurrency industry's known susceptibility to rumors. These rumors can influence trading decisions almost instantaneously.
