Analyst: Cardano (ADA) Will Retire A Lot of Us, Here’s Why

Crypto commentator OxManuel has expressed strong optimism about Cardano’s long-term potential, suggesting that the project’s growth trajectory could bring substantial financial returns to current investors. In a recent post on X, he described Cardano as a network with the potential to transform the financial status of its holders, arguing that it is only a matter of time before this value is fully realized.

Assessing Cardano’s Current Position

As of the latest data, Cardano (ADA) trades at $0.6741, giving it a market capitalization of approximately $24.17 billion. The asset ranks as the 10th-largest cryptocurrency and has recorded very modest gains, about 0.88% within the last week.

According to OxManuel, this valuation leaves significant room for upward movement. He reasoned that a 10-fold price increase from current levels would place Cardano’s total valuation around $240 billion, with each ADA token worth about $6.80. This would represent a new all-time high for the network and, in his view, generate enough financial upside for many long-term holders to achieve financial independence.

To assess whether such an increase could truly allow holders to retire, it is useful to consider the potential returns on investment. The financial threshold for retirement varies widely based on lifestyle and location. For individuals in regions with lower living costs, a retirement fund of around $500,000 could be sufficient, while residents of more expensive cities may require $1 million or more.

Under OxManuel’s projection, an investor would need to hold roughly $50,000 worth of ADA at the current price to reach a $500,000 portfolio if the token appreciates tenfold to $6.80. That amount translates to approximately 73,500 ADA today. Conversely, accumulating $1 million under the same conditions would require an initial stake of $100,000, or about 147,000 ADA at current prices.

This calculation demonstrates that a 10x rally could provide substantial returns for those with meaningful holdings, though it would not guarantee financial independence for every investor.

Market Opinions on ADA’s Potential

Cardano has attracted a wide range of price projections from market analysts and influencers. In September 2025, well-known analyst Ali Martinez predicted that ADA could climb to around $6.25 before the end of the ongoing market cycle, describing the current trend as the early stage of a potentially strong rally.

Other figures in the Cardano community have made even bolder forecasts. Longtime Cardano advocate Dan Gambardello has suggested that ADA could reach $7.50 during this cycle, outlining an exit strategy for holders looking to take profit during such a move. In a separate analysis, he also argued that a $10 price target remains realistic, citing the project’s historical growth patterns and expanding ecosystem as key factors.
