Ethereum ($ETH)
Ethereum (ETH) dropped below the $4k mark. The current $ETH price is $3,925. And the pain could possibly get worse. However, that didn’t stop whales from buying into this opportunity.
You don’t get rich from buying at the top. So, that’s not what these whales are doing. As I already mentioned earlier, whales buy carefully. They choose altcoins that have a big upside potential.
So, in the past 2 days, 15 whale wallets accumulated a total of 406,117 $ETH. That’s worth around $1.6 billion.

These whales profit from your panic selling. So, make sure that you don’t get shaken out. Ethereum’s fundamentals are still as strong as before. The team is working hard to improve the chain. For instance, transaction fees have already come down by quite a bit. And there’s much more going on.
Tom Lee predicted in 2017 that Bitcoin would be the new gold. The $BTC price was around $2,700 at that time. Now, that same Tom Lee says that Ethereum will be the next Bitcoin. So, people tend to listen to him. But not only that, he accumulated almost $9 billion worth of $ETH. Well, his company Bitmine did. Does this make him the Michael Saylor of Ethereum?

Overall, this whale activity emphasizes institutional confidence. It also positions $ETH for potential gains in the near term.
Aster DEX ($ASTER)
Another hot contender in this whale’s altcoins list is Aster DEX ($ASTER). This is Binance’s answer to Hyperliquid‘s dominance in the perp DEX space. $ASTER only launched a bit over a week ago, on 17 September.
However, ever since, we’ve seen a meteoritic rise in price. Its current ATH is at $2.41. Nonetheless, its current price is hurting with the general market conditions. But that’s like most other altcoins. The current $ASTER price is $1.83.

For whales, this is a perfect time to get their hands on more $ASTER. So, let’s look at what these whales have been picking up. Over the past two days, various whale wallets picked up more than $48 million worth of $ASTER. This indicates aggressive buying and growing institutional interest.

Whales keep buying, so they know something. Binance and CZ want this to succeed as well. So, despite the current dip, $ASTER still has plenty of upwards potential. I can see it go to $9 or $10. That’s a good 5X from here.

Plasma ($XPL)
Plasma ($XPL) is a stablecoin‑focused Layer 1 blockchain. Its mainnet launched only 2 days ago, and with the $XPL token. Backers are the Tether sister‑company Bitfinex and billionaire Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund. It’s designed for stablecoin transfers and digital payments at a global scale. With the recent launch of the Genius Act, this is a perfect fit.
There was immediately heavy whale accumulation around the $XPL token. It launched around 70 cents, and the current $XPL price is $1.22. The ATH is $1.54.
One whale managed to get a $2.7 million public sale allocation. Furthermore, he also bought 50.4 million $XPL at 5 cents.
Whale 0x790c deposited 50M $USDT into #Plasma and secured a $2.7M public sale allocation.
He bought 54.09M $XPL($50.4M now) at $0.05 and is now sitting on an unrealized profit of over $47.7M!

Justin Sun also joined, or rather, crashed, the $XPL party. In only 1 minute, he managed to make a $16 million profit. By longing $XPL, he destroyed the order book and wiped out plenty of traders. However, for us small traders, be careful with using leverage. The current crypto pullback is nothing more than wiping out short positions. Tread carefully when using leverage. I said it before, but this is the fastest way to get rekt. Having said that, $XPL should definitely be on your radar!

Besides the 3 mentioned altcoins, there’s more whale action going on. Let’s take a look at some notable whale activities over the last two days.
A whale bought over $17 million worth of $AVAX. Avalanche saw recently some good price development for its $AVAX token. Over the last 30 days, it’s 16.6 % up. That’s despite the current 16 % dip over the last two weeks.

Chainlink ($LINK) also keeps teasing whales. One whale just picked up 6.3 million $LINK. That’s worth around $135 million. $LINK around its current price of $20 is a steal in my book.

And let’s not forget Bitcoin. Whales keep an eye out for every dip that $BTC has. Two different whales scooped up a total of 8.965 $BTC today. That’s worth around $1 billion. Don’t sell your Bitcoin, but hodl it!
